How I Took Back My Life And How You Can Take Back Yours

Do you want something more from your life right now?

For most of my life, I grappled with a feeling that haunts so many of us: No matter what I achieved externally, it was never enough.

I spent decades searching for a sense of self-acceptance and equanimity. I endlessly sought new ways to prove my value and understand my discontent. Along the way, I learned a great deal about myself, and why I became the person I did. What didn’t change significantly was how I felt and showed up in the world, as a leader and as a human being.

My own transformation began with a simple and counterintuitive epiphany. It dawned on me, in a moment when my self-critic was yelling at me, that many of the worst things I’d ever said about myself – or that others had said about me – were true. But they were only part of what was true.

This insight changed everything. The more I’ve been able to accept all of who I am, including the parts I wish I didn’t have, the less I’ve had to defend. The less energy I spend defending my value, the more energy I have to create value in the world.

Today, I feel vastly more open-hearted and at home in my own skin, and less judgmental of myself and others. I’m more effective and productive in the work I do, and I make faster and better decisions. I’m less easily triggered, and more able to remain calm under pressure.

My heart is more open, which has allowed me to build stronger and more trusting relationships. I’ve learned how to listen to my gut as a source of deeper wisdom. I’m a better leader because I’m a bigger human being.

To a significant degree, I’ve become the person I always longed to be. And I very much want to pay it forward.

In collaboration with three extraordinary colleagues, we have spent five years codifying and clarifying what’s required for our clients – and I hope for you -- to take the same transformational journey we have. We call this program QuantumLeap.

I’m writing today with an invitation:

If you sense that who you are isn’t all you can be – if you hunger to be a truly inspirational and authentic leader, and to live a more satisfying, meaningful and effective life in all domains – I want to offer you a path.

I don’t want to convince you. If what I’ve described doesn’t resonate, for whatever reason, thanks for reading to this point. Perhaps it will resonate at another stage in your life.

To do this work, you have to want something more from your life right now.

QuantumLeap isn’t about quick fixes, or clever hacks, or even best practices. It’s about discovering who you already are, beneath whatever masks you wear. It’s about tapping into the vast unexplored territory of your inner world, and accessing capacities that you didn’t know you had. It’s not about improving yourself, it’s about liberating the best of who you already are.

This is not easy work, but it’s incredibly satisfying. It’s given me, my colleagues, and the leaders who have gone through QuantumLeap access to a whole new world inside themselves. And it’s changed the way they show up on the outside.

The flagship version of QuantumLeap is six months – a blend of cohort and individual work through learning, coaching and practical application.

For the first time in 2025, we’re offering an on-ramp to this journey, which we’re calling “QuantumLeap: Chapter One.” It’s a two-day in-person experience in a cohort of other leaders, followed by three individual coaching sessions to help bring your insights to life at work, and in the rest of your life.

We have room for just 100 leaders in the QuantumLeap programs we will run this year.
